Review; Avow (The Archers of Avalon #3) by Chelsea Fine

Scarlet remembers. Everything. Her past lives, Tristan, Gabriel, Nate: she remembers it all--including how to get to the Fountain of Youth. But time is running out.

Heather and Gabriel have been kidnapped by Raven, while the curse that has plagued Scarlet and Tristan for centuries has shifted, putting the star-crossed lovers in more danger than ever before. Water from the Fountain of Youth is the only thing that can save Scarlet and her loved ones. But the water comes at a price.

With lives--and hearts--at stake, Scarlet leads her friends on a dangerous journey to the Fountain of Youth. Where eternal life is possible, but death is certain

My Thoughts

Wow. I loved this soooooo much. I am sure going to miss those Archer boys now the series is over.  Avow kicks off right where Awry left off, Raven as kidnapped Heather and Gabriel and Scarlett, Tristan and Nate are left to fight off the army of Ashmen. I loved how in this book there is even more flash backs where we discover more about each of Scarlett's past lives it cleared up a lot of unanswered questions from the past books and gave us a better understanding of the relationships between them all.

Nate was definitely one of the my favourite characters in this book, I loved  his humour and I loved how he was a bit of a geek, a hot geek though. there is an Indiana Jones type moment that I absolutely loved. Nate is AMAZING.

Heather was great as always, she as got mixed up in Scarlett's crazy life and all that entails, she doesn't let it get her down even while she as been kidnapped the thing that upsets her most is that she lost her pink shoes ha-ha

Tristan is of course as sexy and as brooding as ever, although now the curse as shifted to him rather than Scarlett he seems much happier that could of course be because now his touch is no longer a threat to Scarlett's life, however that means that Scarlett's touch is dangerous to Tristan but he still seems to have little regard for his own life.

Gabriel is different  too, in a good way, as he tries to get Heather and himself out of Ravens clutches.

The end was brilliant. I had guessed what the outcome might be, but it wasn't any less shocking when it happened.

I have loved this series and sad it's over but I am looking forward to what Chelsea will come up with next.
